A World Built on Simulation

In a world where everything is constructed through simulation—

On a dark, narrow street, the protagonist stumbles upon a strange vending machine.

Without much thought, he presses the cola button. Nothing happens.

But soon, the smallest change ripples outward—stretching from daily life to the oceans, until the entire Earth’s waters turn into cola.

At that moment, NASA detects a new threat: a massive asteroid made entirely of Mentos, racing toward Earth.

When the Mentos asteroid crashes into the oceans of cola, the planet erupts in catastrophic destruction.

Yet, the calamity that engulfed the world was nothing more than someone’s simulation,

just another fizz of carbonation.

And still, he says—

“If a world filled with cola is a happier one… then I will press the button again.”
